BODEGA Enological Metabolism is a summer workshop organized by Architecture Association School of Architecture in Barcelona. It centres its research on the associations that exist between wine and architecture in order to identify the influences they have on one another. We studied the winemaking process and focused on typical modernist wineries buildings in Catalunya. We both worked with the exploration of the senses, using wine as a raw material as well as the understanding of the winery as a machine, leading to the speculative design of alternative winery models.
