2016
How much can we share? how much privacy do we need? this is and exercise that wants to rethink the boundaries of sharing and propose alternative ways of living. It offers and emphasizes the space for shared activities, and generates interaction among users to build up a community feeling. It has been thought from the space in between buildings. The space that has no owner and, therefore, belongs to everybody.
Using the void structure as a pattern to generate isolated volumes that have been placed in order to control the views from the street to the graffiti walls. It scales down the public space and subdivides it into different areas and uses. The buildings are associated according to their use; student housing, hostel and rental apartments.
